Test one consultation in both products
Similia describes live transcription with rubric suggestions in its Pro Live Audio Mode, and a separate Notes to Rubrics path for typed notes (source). EzHomeo describes practitioner-started recording, a transcript, editable rubric suggestions and a case record for review (source).
Record a representative consultation with consent, including the language switches and medical terms you encounter. Compare the transcript against the audio; reject an incorrect rubric and check the resulting record. EzHomeo’s documented sequence has not been independently walked for this comparison, so confirm its current behaviour in your own trial.
Where Similia may suit you better
- Similia advertises 14 repertories and more than 35 materia medica sources (source). Verify editions, source rights and the texts you actually need with each vendor.
- Similia says its interface is available in 18 languages (source). Interface language does not establish which languages live audio transcribes.
Questions still worth asking
Ask Similia which languages its live audio mode handles in your setting. Ask EzHomeo to demonstrate mixed-language capture and to document its hosting region, AI subprocessors and repertory licences. Neither an unstated answer nor a vendor’s page silence proves a feature is absent. Review each privacy policy and governing terms before recording patient data.
